Greenfield Village

Our trip to Greenfield Village today was really fun. Nicholas (pictured in the tintype studio) and his parents arrived and we got together while we were eating lunch at the cafeteria. He and Miriam and Alice were glad to see one another again.

Miriam and Alice took much more creative and imaginative photos than I did, especially Alice's gallery-worthy series "25 views of my shoes." But here are my photos, starting with the carousel ride.

The Edison Labs were especially interesting to Miriam, who is reading his biography. And we all enjoyed the tintype studio, set up to take old-time photos.
